I had hoped to post this when it was still 2006, but oh well....
Here is my personal TOP 5 MOVIES OF 2006:
* V FOR VENDETTA
* LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE
* THE DEPARTED
* PAN'S LABYRINTH
* SUPERMAN II: RICHARD DONNER CUT (on DVD)

and my TOP 4 LET DOWNS:
* UNDERWORLD: EVOLUTION (begins with promise, but then crashes & burns)
* PIXAR'S CARS (cliche)
* PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 2: DEAD MAN'S CHEST (sucked!!!)

WORST MOVIE:
* THE DA VINCI CODE (embarrassingly terrible)
