A teenage terminator girl in a mini-skirt helping out Sarah and John???.... and John looks like a smug little worthless punk who I want to throttle? Bah. BAH I SAY!!! And the weird Terminator torso poster creeps me out. Look for it in the background on a future episode of "To Catch A Predator". It puts the lotion on the Terminator.*shudder*

Another reason to check out TH3RDWORLD STUDIOS and ESKIMO DAVE is our own friend SCOTT KING is writing Eskimo Dave!!!! That's right, his first issue is up now (#36) and will go for 3 issues. Then he's off for 5 issues while another writer bangs out an arc, but RETURNS after that with a whopping 17 issues in a row!! Yeah, baby!!! A new Eskimo Dave is posted every wednesday!

Maxim: Magazine for Douchebags, has assembled some nice comparison pics of WATCHMEN the comic vs WATCHMEN the movie. Based on his current track record, I am opting for optimism and faith that Zack Snyder will pull it off. Watchmen is one of those comics that most believe cannot be pulled off... will he do it? We shall see.... The attention to detail is nice and appreciated, tho.

Aw, man.... I just now got to checking out the News and was informed that Redskins' Safety SEAN TAYLOR has died from a gunshot wound from a home intruder.
In case you missed, they released some INDY IV pics today. I can't help but get excited for this. I know I'm setting myself up for a huge disappointment, but sometimes the road of excitement is more enjoyable than the destination (like with all 3 SW Prequels). Most people seem to want another RAIDERS, which is one of the best movies ever made. Can they capture lightning twice? Doubtful, but that's ok... just don't make this one WORSE than 2 or 3, man! I'm not asking for much, am I? Oh, and Shia really looks like Indy's son... good casting, me thinks.... I just hope he pulls it off and doesn't go too over the top. Less is more, dude. Less is more.

YEAH!!!!! The AUBURN TIGERS defeated Alabama on saturday in the Iron Bowl!! What's even better, is this is the SIXTH win against them in a row!!!! There wasn't a single player on the Alabama side that has ever experienced knowing a win over Auburn! That could also extend for the students; freshmen through grad students, I suppose! Man, 6 in a row!!! Its a new record and Auburn fans are freaking giddy! Way to go, Tigers!!!! Now gimmie a celebratory "War Eagle!"
JIMSMASH will be INACTIVE 
Awesome!!! DC Comics has announced they are collecting James Robinson's entire STARMAN run into Hardcover Omnibus editions! Volume 1 is set for a May 2008 release, collecting Starman #0-16, a whopping 448 pages!! Future Starman Omnibus HCs (6 in total) will also include the Mini-Series, Annuals and One-Shots of his run. I highly recommend picking this series up... whether it be in the Ominbus books, softcover trade paperbacks or back issues. It's one of my favorite stories and has HBO series written all over it.

I finally got around to watching the SUPERMAN/DOOMSDAY animated movie. While I thought the 90s comics, which this is loosely based on, had good ideas the comics themselves sucked. But I have to say, I freaking loved this animated movie! The action, editing, acting, story... it was all good. It really makes me hate Superman Returns all the more. If you're a comics fan or even someone who enjoys the live-action Superman movies, I highly recommend you give this flick a viewing! Why can't Hollywood make stuff like this? Jeez.

First step out, they are proving me Right in that the GIJOE movie is in the wrong hands. They announced today that SIENNA MILLER will portray THE BARONESS. Wow, who is in charge of casting? I wonder if they have ever read a GIJOE comic or even watched the show. Apparently not. Someone needs to inform Stephen Sommers that these are ESTABLISHED CHARACTERS, not just costumes you can throw on anyone. sigh. And so it begins.....

First off, METROID on the old Nintendo was awesome!!! I always wanted to see a METROID movie... still do. The hero of the game, SAMUS, was super cool... like Boba Fett-esque kind of cool, but not quite. Even cooler was at the end of the game, Samus removes the rad helmet revealing the character was female! You then could replay the game over, but sans-helmet. Anyway, I stumbled upon these pics.... nice Samus costume!!! Although the girl is not what I picture in my mind - she's too cute and soft; typical fanboy fantasty stuff. But rad pictures nonetheless! Nice job!!
