ARLEEN SORKIN HAS PASSED AWAY

ARLEEN SORKIN has sadly passed away. She first melted my heart on 'Days of Our Lives', portraying the kooky fun Calliope from 1984-1991 (acting opposite John de Lancie's Eugene).

It is there on 'Days' that Paul Dini saw her dressed in a harlequin outfit and took inspiration to create the Batman character HARLEY QUINN on 'Batman: The Animated Series'. Sorkin was hired to provide the voice of Harley and the character was instantly beloved, in large part (mostly, if you ask me) due to Sorkin's voice and acting.

What a huge loss her passing is, but I am thankful for the decades of entertainment, smiles and laughs she provided. If only we could hear her say, "Mistah J!" one more time. 

Rest in Peace, Arleen Sorkin.
