Via MovieWeb, here's a first look at the crystal skull in the next INDIANA JONES movie. Spielberg had said the aliens from CLOSE ENCOUNTERS would be in it in some form or another, so perhaps this it?? Some people online are saying its merely a "stylized human skull"... you can contrast/compare below:
