THE FLY REMAKE REMAKE

Yep, Hollywood is remaking Cronenberg's classic 1986 THE FLY. To add to the redundancy factor, they are having Cronenberg return to direct the remake to his own film. Weird. What's next, Clive Barker remaking 'Hellraiser'?! (oh wait...) .Now, Cronenberg's strange enough to do something different and inventive, so it could be interesting......... or will he simply cash-in, and do a shot-for-shot remake (Shia LaBeouf as Brundlefly!). Now, before you set your rage guns to 'kill', do keep in mind that Cronenberg's The Fly was a remake itself, of the 1956 The Fly. Set rage guns to 'stun'.

think Cronenberg should remake the 1965 film "Curse Of The Fly" instead. I want to see people being teleported from Montreal to London rather than 15 feet through space.

Man and machine imperfect harmony.
