Has anyone seen the ad campaign for Svedka Vodka?I saw a billboard the other day which caused me to do a double-take. The robot looks an awful lot like the I,Robot NS-5 model!!
What the hell? I mean, I know Sonny may not have been the most original design (A.I., Bjork video), but come on... this looks like a total ripoff.
Sure, the IRobots looked gorgeous....
...(pat myself on back. heheh)...

That's actually a life size physical model with a model's face composited on. They were building it when I worked at Stan Winston. No CG...so, I guess that's the only difference between Svedka's robo-slut and I Robot. It's a stupid ad campaign...and a rip off.
There was also a practical model of a NS-5 used on Irobot (maybe more than one), (it had the softest lips...)
So I'm glad Sonny went ahead with the surgery.
The new Sunny in those ads rocks!
