Click here to see a new Superman Returns trailer.
Looks like fun - some neat moments.
However, I must always state my negative opinions on this film (heh):
Everyone (except Lex) is WAY too freaking young. If this was "Year One" or "Superman Begins", then ok. But no, it's 5 years AFTER Superman II. So they look WAY too freaking young. Brandon Routh in 5-7 years would be perfect for a SuperMAN, but right now he's SuperBOY. The movie looks like it would be a great extension off of Smallville....not off of Superman II. Bah!------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(oh, and the Superbaby is lame...however, wasn't it conceived in Superman 2 when Clark gave up his powers? If so, then it wouldn't have any powers...???).

OF COURSE superbaby has powers. you can change your pants, but you can't change your genes.
but i really have no idea what you're talking about anyway. i haven't seen any of the superpoop.
:>)
In SUPERMAN II, Superman/Clark Kent willingly put himself into a machine that made him human, stripping him of his powers. Supposedly, that is when he and Lois conceived the kid in Superman Returns (if in fact the kid is Superman's, but "Inside Sources" say YES). SO, if he conceived the child as a HUMAN, the kid would not have powers.
If it IS his kid, the brat better be killed at the Film's end. Superman has NEVER had a kid in over 60 YEARS of stories....there's a REASON for that!!!!!!
still, even if you personally can't deflect bullets or reverse the planet's orbit, the moment you have a child you'll realize that he/she is all powerful.
moo hoo hoo ha ha ha! bichboom!
I agree. If this was Superman Begins, then the casting could be digestable. They look too young and immature to be the characters they are portraying in that timeframe of their lives.
