ETERNIAN PALACE GUARDS
Check out these "new" figures of the ETERNIAN PALACE GUARDS by Mattel (via Collector's Club). They were available in a 2-pack which included 4 different interchangeable heads, so you could potentially have 4 different guards (upon buying 2 sets).
I've always dug MAN-AT-ARMS' design, so these dudes would look sweet standing alongside/behind him. However, I'm none-too-keen on the symmetrical armor pieces. A commenter on Poeghosta, De-Man, posted:"I’m not sure, but I think Man-at-Arms only having armor on one side WAS a design choice. It was Filmation that gave him armor on both sides. They did it so they could switch the animation cells left or right, to save money".Interesting, if true. Anyway, these badboys were available on the MattyCollector website, but are now unfortunately SOLD OUT. Boo. Here are some more pics:

I've never seen The Tudors, nor anything else he's been in. But based solely on visuals, I don't hate this casting. He could work! I'm going to keep an open mind and optimistic outlook.
