Today's DOUCHEBAG OF THE DAY goes to Fred Phelps, his family and his douchebag supporters. The Phelps family has launched a campaign to crash and heckle the funerals of soldiers. They have picketed and harrassed more than 100 funerals since June 2005 with such signs as "Thank God for Dead Soldier" and "God Hates Your Tears."Why the hatred for fallen soldiers and their grieving families? Is it because they are against the Iraq war? No, they say the soldiers are fighting for an army that represents a country that accepts homosexuality. Hmmm, let's repeat that last line again, shall we? "the soldiers are fighting for an army that represents a country that accepts homosexuality."
Wow. Where to even fucking begin with this one, huh? Seriously, I'm just going to leave it at that. To give a proper rant would take too much time, too much typing and I think my head would explode.
