And in May 2025, The Galaxy’s Greatest will celebrate his astounding work with a new collection of his art at 2000 AD: The Art of Judge Dredd by Jock.

From his earliest work as a budding young artist, through to his latest 2000 AD covers, this unmissable collection will showcase the artistic evolution of one of the modern masters of comic art.

Jock is of course well known to fans of 2000 AD: in addition to his time illustrating characters including Judge Dredd, Pulp Sci-Fi, Tharg the Mighty and Tor Cyan, Jock co-created Lenny Zero with ex-2000 AD editor Andy Diggle, and found further international acclaim through projects including the Eisner award nominated The Losers at DC Comics, also with Diggle, alongside his creator-owned comic Wytches, published at Image Comics as part of his creative partnership with writer Scott Snyder. Outside of comics, Jock has enjoyed a successful career as a movie concept artist, working on such films as Hancock, Children of Men, Batman Begins, The Losers and the Dredd movie.

Now, for the first time, his work on Judge Dredd is collected in a breathtakingly detailed Hardback edition measuring 282 × 216 mm / 11⅛ × 8½ in in order to fully showcase the immense detail which goes into his artistry and design. Running for 172 pages, this is a landmark collection of artwork from a true original in the world of comics.

With this release, Rebellion Publishing continues to champion the work of creators from across British comics history – including titans of the industry such as Brian Bolland, Arthur Ranson, Mick McMahon, Steve Dillon, Kevin O’Neill and more. This edition sees Jock take his place alongside some of the true greats of comics history.
