I really dislike the RESURRECTION Alien design.It's as if it emerged from an Octopus.
Or a Tree. or Pumpkinhead.

Its the only reason why I did this post...

oh no you di'nt! Don't even compare that abortion of a monster design to Pumpkinhead.
I love Pumpkinhead, please do not misinterpret....
Pumpkinhead was created by Stan Winston. The ADI guys were his assistants... with Woodruff Jr being IN the suit... After Pumpkinhead, they formed ADI and they took over the Alien creature fx with Alien3 through the AVP movies.
One of my complaints is that they turned Giger's Biomechanical Alien into "their" Pumpkinhead. Meaning their Aliens look more closely in design (texture, etcs) to Pumpkinhead than Giger's Alien. There's almost no biomechanical elements in their aliens now. Instead, they are more organic looking and in certain angles look very much like Pumpkinhead (shoulders, arms, hands, chest, hips...)

I love Sideshow...but why do they continue making so many statues for the worst of the Alien designs? I don't get it. I'm not a huge fan of Alien3, but that design destroys the Rez one. However, this one is a little more catoony than the other ones for Rez. I actually thought the Alien4 diorama wasn't that bad.
