JUSTICE #10 RULED

I'm so mad at Marvel right now (see previous post below). So here is a post to promote a great DC comic book:

Last night I read JUSTICE #10, the maxi-series by ALEX ROSS, JIM KRUEGER and DOUG BRAITHWAITE. Holy crap, it was freaking AWESOME!! This is why I read comics, for such stories as this one!

Looking for a kickass comic? Then pick up the first two collections now! (There will be a total of 3 collections once the final 12th issue is released).

Here's the skinny:
Lex Luthor and other major villains share vivid dreams of Earth's destruction, which Superman, Batman, and the rest of the Justice League are helpless to prevent. To keep their vision from becoming reality, the villains join forces to vanquish the heroes, in the belief that relying on supersaviors makes humanity vulnerable to apocalyptic events. They find a way to defeat the Justice League, while looking like heroes to the public.
Covers to the first 2 collections, on sale now:

We had the writer, Jim Krueger here for a signing right after issue #1 came out. He's originally from my area and comes back frequently because his ex-wife still lives here with their kids. He was pretty cool!

We're also hoping to get Alex Ross here. We're in good with his business manager and he's in Chicago, which is only about an hours drive from here when the traffic is good.

Well, when/if we get him booked to come out I'll be sure to let you know. Maybe slip a Jim Smash flier into his bag on the way out.
