WORLD OF WARCRAFT HILARITY

OH MAN!!! This is fucked up
........... yet hysterical!!!!

A group of Warcraft players (otherwise known as a guild) interrupted a "memorial service" within the game. Apparently, someone died in real life (sad) who was a popular WoW player. The people in the game think it would be nice to have a memorial for the player so they log into his account, take the character to a lake, and set it up for everyone to come pay their respects.

A bunch of other dudes (warmongering assholes) decide this would be a great time to ambush everyone so they gather a war party, run over the hill, kill the dead guy's character, and then wipe out everyone who was there to show their respects. They filmed the whole thing and put it on the Net for everyone to see.

A co-worker of mine is obsessed with this game. It's all they do and it's their social life 24/7. I cannot even begin to explain the level of nerd/loser this game is.

Memo to human beings: It's called life. Go out and live it. Interact with REAL people in REAL situations.

pathetic.

It's a form of escapism. Everybody does it in some way. Soem people just don't have the will to moderate themselves and got lost in their escape - turning it into a reality whenever possible.

I quit a couple months ago cuz I realised I wasn't drawing as much any more.

Take pity on them.

Then see if you can work for Blizzard. I hear their royalty checks are outstanding!
