Quarantined with eight brand new songs and dances! Meat & Potato Theatre takes you to heaven and back with their unique brand of theatrical storytelling!

GANDALF VS VADER
I meant to post this yesterday... its GANDALF VS VADER.
I stopped watching once Vader shot Sith Lightning, so I don't know how it plays out.
*Only Emperor Palpatine shoots Lighting. It's what makes him so awesome, powerful and unique. Yes, technically Darth Sidious shot Sith Lightning, but I don't acknowledge the Star Wars Prequels as official canon.
PROPHET #25 - ANOTHER GREAT ISSUE
I hope you're reading 'PROPHET'.

You don't need to know anything that came before.
SCOTTY FINALLY GETS "BEAMED UP"
via eonline:
James Doohan has now gone where he's always wanted to go.
When the actor better known as Scotty on the popular TV series Star Trek died in 2005, it was his wish to have his ashes sent into space.
Well, after an earlier attempt was made to launch them back in 2008 failed, that dream became a reality on Tuesday when Doohan's remains were successfully sent into orbit via SpaceX's unmanned Falcon 9 rocket.
Doohan, however, wasn't the only "celeb" to take off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station yesterday. Among the other 308 deceased individuals who had their ashes shot into the cosmos along with the USS Enterprise engineer was Gordon Cooper, who was one of the famous Mercury seven astronauts.
JEALOUS BE THY NAME
Holy crap! My buddy's friend was cleaning out his garage and found his old copy of HEAVY METAL #1!!!! Score of the Gods!!!!
WINNER OF THE "LIEFELD POSE" CONTEST
Ha, this is Jonathan - the winner of Penny Arcade's "LIEFELD POSE CONTEST". (Even Rob himself entered!)
The pose is great and cracked me up. But dude... you couldn't find a cleaner area to pose in? Maybe straighten up a little? That room kind of made me sad.
Plus, background elements rarely exist in a Liefeld panel.
I of course am merely poking fun at both Jonathan (great job!) and Rob Liefeld (who, in my experience, is a great guy).

GAME OF THRONES
While working yesterday I received a text from Mrs Smash, with this photo of a wooden castle she had built. This is how she told me 'GAME OF THRONES': SEASON 1: Disc Two had just arrived from Netflix. Awesome.

2 NEW AQUAMAN COVERS FOR YAZ
Aquaman #12 and Justice League #12 (august 2012)
The Aquaman book is... okayyy...
Justice League is a giant steaming turd.
Neither come with my recommendation.
But I felt inclined to post the covers anyway to show my Aqualove.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*I've always preferred the no-gloves version of Aquaman.

HEY KIDS! A SHITTY COSTUME!
This is quite possibly the worst costume for kids I've ever seen, based on an existing pop culture character. If you're still scratching your head - its supposed to be BLUE BEETLE. Atleast it has a mask, I suppose....

LIEFELD'S 'ASSEMBLED'
He posted this back in 2008, but I'm just now discovering it... ROB LIEFELD is working on this:
Sounds kinda cool!
Ya know, I wish Liefeld had stayed & continued in his Extreme Universe from Younblood #1 and on... The EXU us just so... so very him! Think of the bulk of work we'd have now had he remained working on 'Youngblood'... and expanded the book to fold in the other EXU characters within; 'Brigade', 'Bloodstrike', 'Supreme', 'Prophet', etc... and more. Maybe rotating writers like Robert Kirkman, Alan Moore, Mark Millar, Joe Casey (who are other friends of Rob?... sigh, Loeb I buess - but he'd have to be on his A-Game, his Batman-Long-Halloween-Game). There's something fun about that idea. Regarding this 'Assembled' project... release it as a huge omnibus-sized graphic novel, Rob.
"For the past 8 years I’ve been drawing pages for a personal project that is epic in its scope, because it involves every single character I ever created from my Extreme Universe that started with the launch of Youngblood #1. The book is called The Assembled and is told in the present, flashbacks, and flash forwards. The Extreme Universe is now ruled by an army of Supreme’s headed by the Supreme that returned in Supreme #1 in 1992. He has taken control of the Supremacy and imposed his rule on the world. Heroes have scattered and formed rebel factions in order to break Supreme’s rule. You will see how it all originally went down and how the alliances are formed as well as glimpse the struggle that the heroes now face as the Supremacy tightens their grip. The story actually began in the pages of the Suprema one-shot two years ago. I’ve imagined this story many times and now it’s coming to fruition.
The Assembled preview pages featured here depict Supreme being challenged by Nite (formerly Prof. Nite) Brick ( from Doom’s 4) and Shaft." ---Rob Liefeld
