AND SO IT BEGINS. . .

Two idiot workers volunteered to have "tagging technology" silicon chips embedded into themselves. The reason being given for this is to restrict access to secure areas. The chips are the size of a grain of rice. Right now they are glorified keycards and do not enable someone to track the employees' movements.... yet. While they're may be some good uses for putting chips into people for safety and convienence, the door that this opens is really fucked up. Hey, let's be able to track every single American citizen! Shit, why not have them visually watched at all times (although we're already close to that as is). Don't people learn ANYTHING from science fiction? Jeezus. More here.
