LYRICS OF DANZIG BOOK

DANZIG (or someone) has released a book of his lyrics including The Misfits, Samhain and of course Danzig. The bonus is that it has illustrations by Simon Bisley!

DANZIG, AGENT OF HYDRA

Saw DANZIG down in Long Beach and the Stage props caught my geeky notice... yep, they're HYDRA Emblems (Marvel), Danzig-Style.

Remember, Danzig's logo was taken from Marvel's CRYSTAR #8.

SOME COOL ESAD RIBIC

ESAD RIBIC has been a fav of mine since I first saw his kickass art in the mini-series LOKI. He's since done a series for SILVER SURFER and SUB-MARINER as well as numerous comic covers. Below are some upcoming covers by Ribic:
He's done 2 covers so far for the new direction of DAREDEVIL beginning with DD#501. I like the intesnity, mood and DD's physique - he looks like the son of a Hell's Kitchen Boxer (dig those "boxing boots"!).

And this is from the cover of DARK REIGN: THE LIST - WOLVERINE: He's done other Logan pics (sans-mask) which kick ass, too. A buddy of mine and I refer to it as "The Danzig Wolverine" (see below motorcycle for clarification):

DANZIG: CRYSTAL WARRIOR

DANZIG has come up in conversation 3 times this week. So in honor of that sign, here's a post spotlighting the relation between CYRSTAR and DANZIG!! This may be common knowledge, particularly with Danzig fans.... but Glenn Danzig swiped the classic "danzig horned skull" from MICHAEL GOLDEN's cover for Marvel's Crystar #8! Danzig used the skull imagery backwhen for his then-side band project SAMHAIN (which became his full-time band when the Misfits fell apart - Samhain later evolved into DANZIG in 1987). I wonder if he gave credit to Golden or not?? So anyway, there you have it! Legions of metalheads are walking around with CRYSTAR artwork on their chest and they probably don't even know it! I think Danzig should start wearing Crystar shirts! Toyline based comics of the 80s rule!!!
