GREE-YEES

The latest installment in my life-long quest to “Greedo” the entire Kenner line - Gree-Yees! Greedo is my favorite character, so I’ve been giving the rest of the figures the green jumpsuit treatment. The Wookiepedia entry for Gree-Yees would say that he served the Rodian bounty hunter, taking care of his frog-dog, Gubo, and maintaining his Ubrikkian 9000 speeder. He was defintely NOT on Jabba’s sail barge when it exploded (that was his better-known cousin Ree-Yees). Rather, after Greedo takes a blaster bolt to the chest, Gree-Yees and the dog troll the Outer Rim, fueled by Bubo snacks and the chance to avenge their master’s death!
