BARBARA MAITLAND FROG?

In 1992, Canadian photographer Scott Gardner captured a rare toad from Ontario with no eyes on its face; its eyes were inside its mouth, blinking from the throat. This unusual genetic mutation, though strange, isn’t unheard of in amphibians. Gardner’s legendary photo even featured in Richard Dawkins’ Climbing Mount Improbable, revealing evolution’s strange and fascinating quirks.

If they don't name it after Barbara Maitland, I give up.
