Last night Nichelle Nichols, aged 82, flew on board NASA's Stratospheric Observatory For Infrared Astronomy, the largest airborne observatory in the world!
Nichelle has always been a staunch supporter and spokesperson for NASA and for women in science.
What a proud moment and amazing achievement!
