Wow, in 1979 I hadn't even heard of McDonalds in the UK, I doubt they even existed outside of London. Good to see they've been going strong in bribing kids with movie tie-ins for over 30 years over in the States!
After the Star Trek ad there was a link to a McDonalds Zombie short. Did anyone check that out? It was awesome!

That commercial was almost (but not quite) as unsettling as the Kingon commercials from Burger King.

Quite possibly the funniest thing I've seen in a while. Sadly, though, I don't remember those commercials.

And, yes...I, too, thought that Klingon looked like Michael Dorn.
