This is pretty sweet - they are "rereleasing" the classic Mego Star Trek Bridge playset. Its based on the original designs from the early 1970s but with some slight modifications. The set includes a Mego crewman for transporter goodness. You can find them online for preorder from
$45-60... much cheaper than shelling out the dough for original vintage ones. I hope they continue to "rerelease" other classic Mego sets... like the ones from
PLANET OF THE APES!! Man, I'd love to have those!

As a kid, my best friend's older brother had it... it was the best! We'd play with it when he wasn't around, heh. There's a store nearby that has a vintage one, in box, for $300. Sooo tempting... but $300? I simply can't do it. So fingers crossed they will do a rerelease!
