MOTU : THE SECRET OF THE LAUGHING BRIDGE

Hello from the Grayskull Convention in Germany! My latest painting has just been unveiled: “The Secret of the Laughing Bridge” depicts the central scene from the classic German radio play from 1986. A motif that has a very special atmosphere and is very close to my heart. It was painted in oil on canvas and measures 120/80 cm.

 
In the adventure, Man-E-Faces is kidnapped by Ice Bird. Orko pursues them and sees them disappear without a trace under an ancient bridge in the Mystic Mountains. They flew under the bridge on one side... but did not reappear on the other. He-Man and the Masters of the Universe must unravel the mystery of the bridge to save their friend. At first, they find nothing; the bridge seems completely normal. But when the wind dies down and the water calms, the bridge reveals its secret. The solution lies in the reflection in the water, which together with the arch of the bridge forms a laughing mouth: the legendary Laughing Bridge. The picture shows the moment when our heroes discover the “true face” of the bridge, which now paves the way for them to rescue their friend...
