You could have said - "BELIEVE IT OR NOT: THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS MAGAZINE DAY!" because the alien is reading a Ripley's Believe It Or Not magazine.
Or is he reading that because he thinks it'll help show him how to kill Ripley?
