LEN WEIN passed away today at the age of 69.
Mr Wein is most known for co-creating Wolverine, Swamp Thing, and the Uncanny X-Men (Storm, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Thunderbird, etc). He also edited Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons' Watchmen.
I had the privilege of meeting him about 12 years ago where he graciously signed my copy of the Marvel Masterworks hardcover that collects Giant Size X-Men, [Uncanny] X-Men #94-101. He was very pleasant and we spent most of the time just chatting about our love of comics in general.
The Comic Industry and Community lost a legend today.

Oh man. That is such a bummer. I loved his recent Swamp Thing series with Kelley Jones. Sad news indeed.
