Wrightson is well remembered as the co-creator of SWAMP THING and his breathtaking pencil work of horrors, from Frankenstein to Alien to even Batman.
I had the honor of meeting him many years ago at a comic convention where he graciously signed my "Bernie Wrightson Pop-Up Book". He was tickled to sign it - a first, he said.
Farewell to a brilliant artist who influenced generations - a true Master of the Macabre.
