I picked up SUICIDE SQUAD #1 this week for the JIM LEE art. Instant regret. The art looks like one of those dozen "Jim Lee ripoff artists" rampant during the 90s. When will learn that I no longer like Jim Lee's art? Looking back, the last time I actually loved Lee's art was his WildC.A.T.s and Heroes Reborn: Fantastic Four, both published 20+ years ago. Yet I continue to pick up books by him which is always disappointing. Idiot.

I don't...I don't get what happened. Did his work ALWAYS look like that? I fondly remember all his older stuff. Do I need to go back and re-read his older stuff?
