WONDER WOMAN

Now that we know what Gadot is going to look like as Wonder Woman inSnyder's 'Batman vs Superman', I felt inclined to post some WW and WW-related pics....

Funny thing about Cobie Smulders being considered for Wonder Woman, she actually voices her in The Lego Movie.

Also, not a fan of "New 52"'s treatment of our heroine icon. Not only is the "Superman/Wonder Woman" pairing thing not working, I loath and despise her new origin and how they turned the Amazons into man-hating, rapist murderers who condone child slavery in literal hellish conditions just so they can have weapons and armor. Yeah. New 52's Wonder Woman comes from a group of women so incompetent that they can't even fashion their own arsenal without selling their own children to demons.

Thanks for the post Jim. When Batman hit his 75th, I posted that last pic in celebration. :)

All but one of these pics are great WW concepts/examples.......guys which one doesn't

"One of these kids is doing their own thing,....one of these kids is not like the other...."

is #17 Gina Carano? i thought she'd make for a great WW, despite the fact that she's a lil shorter than the character.

we'll see how this one pans out, i have hope for Snyder's vision and were impressed w/ his vision for MoS; some of the examples, in uniform and actress, seem...

just "better", but...

putting trust in their hands and will only TRULY talk when i see the final product. other than that, it's just speculation and unfounded opinion.

Whatever this film turns out to be, the facts are pretty clear how the studio is handling the world's most iconic female super hero.

Even if Wonder Woman gets her own movie, it won't be a movie about Wonder Woman, it will be a movie about her role in a universe that is largely inhabited by other super heroes. She cannot exist in her own universe without other heroes. Batman had his own universe to play in without the need for other heroes, as did Superman during Christopher Reeve's run. Wonder Woman will never have that now that chance where she can truly be her own character without relying on other super heroes now that everything is geared towards a "Marvel Cinematic Universe" approach.
