100 years ago today George Reeves was born.
From 1951 to 1957 he portrayed Superman on TV with charm, wit, & warmth.
A new series had been given the green light to start filming in 1959 but due to his tragic death it was never made.
He is still fondly remembered by Superman fans & as Christopher Reeve is adorning the top of the page I thought it a nice idea to give a doth of the cap to another who wore the cape & S insignia on his chest.
