As much as I love Maiden, they haven't done a decent album since Seventh Son, and let's not even get into the Janick business.
I really like "A Matter of Life and Death". Its not like their old stuff, which is THE BEST. But its a fitting album for a band 20 years later. I recommend giving that album another shot.
But nothing beats the early Bruce Years (Beast to 7th Son).

Up the Irons indeed. Can't wait to see them on their Maiden England retro tour! All the old tunes!!!!
However, I wonder if you've seen this by Justice? Great combination of 70s sci-fi flicks with a smattering of Tron. (opening riff kinda reminds me of AC/DC)
