Yep, Marvel has finally cast THOR and its Chris Hemsworth who just played Young Kirk's father in JJAbrams' Star Trek. (via Variety)Hmm, not who I was hoping for. Don't get me wrong, he was fantastic in Star Trek. But I'm not sure he can pull off a NORSE GOD who is the SON OF ODIN- in physical stature, attitude and overall presence. I guess we'll find out in 2011 when the film comes out.
Oh, he's also going to be in the remake (sigh) of RED DAWN playing Patrick Swayze's character.
