Wow, two pictures of Batman where they're standing, facing camera. Holy shit Jim, you've cracked this thing wide open.

I wasn't saying he traced, just that it looked familiar. When I saw it I flashed to the Bale promo pic. They do look similar: proportions, "camera" angle, shoulders etc. Just looked familiar. And he has been known to use photo reference from other people's photography and movie stills. No need to be an ass about it.

wow two JIMSMASHE'S and one takes the name of a lame-O character.......wow,..you've really got something going for you....

I totally see the connection. Hey remember Williams' FinalCrisis Superman where he traced that pro wrestler? What's his name?

hahhahaha i think Jim got the wrong connotation of what Red jim was trying to say, i think that Red jim tried to mean is how Batman is almost but rarely captured on camera or on film like in the comics, Here u have 2 photos of him standing straight in front of you facing camera which in the comics would be beyond belive that ua ctually got a shit at him, i think that Red Jim was being sarcastic and may have implied what i just tried to explain, if he meant it the way ut ook it then idk about that..

Friends!

Sorry, been getting a lot of hate mail lately which has me grumpy.

Ha, yeah I remember seeing this when it came out and shaking my head. This is JG Jones by the way Jim. It was also JG that heavily referenced John Cena back in his Final Crisis Wizard Cover. Because he does it so rarely I tend to give him a break but referencing that Batman picture for a Batman cover seemed lazy. I believe it was even in an ad in comics, thankfully not by that point but still.

I'm sure it means something.

You are correct, Ramon - it is JG Jones, NOT JH Williams. Thank you! And apologies to Mr. Williams.

That wonder woman looks very Megan Fox..I'm sure a little digging would find a good match, here's the best I could do before I grew weary of her awful tattoo's.

NOT TO GO (WAAAAAAAY) OFF-TOPIC, but...

is it just me or would John Cena, despite his lack of an acting pedigree, have made a MUCH better Eddie Brock than Eric freakin' Foreman?!?!

everytime i see his block head i think of how much better he would have been at that character than Topher. that, and the fact that they should have had Bryce Dallas play MARY JANE as the WOMAN SHE IS SUPPOSED TO BE instead of Dunst's "crybaby little girl lacking self-confidence" version, is what helped SM3 go down the crapper.

the New Goblin? kinda lame, but he dies, so it's whatever; worked in the film. Sandman? GREAT cast choice & COOL to see him on film, but they kinda missed w/ his story a bit. ...and i am usually really understanding (as i bust balls. LMAO!) as i know that it is Raimi's story to do whatever he wanted w/ and just try to enjoy movies w/ out overthinking 'cause they are all "at least a little off".

X-Men 3 PISSED ME OFF at first, but since i've just been like, "whatever; look who directed it", and taken it w/ a grain of salt and just appreciated it as much as humanly possible because Kelsey Grammer was BORN to be Beast.

---w/ love;
the chops buster (thought i was gonna say "balls" again; weren't you?! lol)

Yeah, Topher was an odd choice for Brock. And why did they switch Gwen & MJ? Ugh. Yeah, Goblin lame... and I enjoyed X-Men 3 for what it was, which was a crappy X-Men movie by Brett Ratner. Of course, I'm not the biggest fan of the other 2 x-movies... but Ratners felt like the X-Men in the 90s -crappy and dumb. Maybe he did a perfect adaptation of that era! ;)

I have to respectively disagree about Kelsey and Beast. If you're going with the 90s Animated X-Men Beast, then yes... but I felt that was a wrong take on the character, I felt. If anything, I'd go with a more Jeff Goldblum "The Fly" angle. Beast isn't the soft-spoken Shrink, he's the quirky brilliant scientist.
