COOL THOR COVER

I'm not a big fan of Thor's new costume. It's cool n' all, there's just something about it that doesn't wow me... (maybe it just doesn't "work" on Thor?) However, this cover does wow me. Other artists tend to draw his new armor as chainmail, whereas here it looks like large metal plates. Plus, Dell'Otto paints one sharp lookin' Thor. I wonder if, in the upcoming Thor movie, if he'll be donning this new costume, the classic, something more "Norse Authentic" or other?
My vote is something more "Norse Authentic" while still maintaining elements of the Marvel Thor costume (above far-left & far-right). I believe the movie will primarily be in Asgard(?) and hopefully ending with Thor being cast down to Midgard by Odin (if they are to stick with his origin story)(??). That would work perfectly... then, like what I said with Captain America, he can don a more "super hero" like costume (above 2nd) when he joins the Avengers in the Avengers movie. Come on Marvel, don't let us down! Do it right, baby!

Here's a bonus Thor pic by Frank Cho.:
(Too bad its the Ultimates)

That Ultimate Thor costume is so horrible. Why is he wearing those push-lights? Terrible.

If I had to guess, I think his movie costume will look closer to the more current one, only because the actor playing Thor doesn't really have the musculature in the arms to pull off the sleeveless look.

yea, i REALLY wish people would stop with the 'hot' actor ( see Ryan Reynolds) and cast according to the ROLE. he's got some hieght ( 6' 3" ,...which probably means he's really 6 feet ) but man,..he better get in the gym and put on some mass , not lean ripped weight,..i mean MASS,..like a bodybiulder )

THOR
6' 6 " 640lbs ( due to his dense Asguardian physiology)

- I seriously cringe at the thought of who ever is going to be cast as Captain America.......
6' 2" 240 ( he's THE PERFECT HUMAN SPECIMEN, not an Abercrombie and Finch model...OR BRAD FRIGGIN PITT...)
