William Hootkins passed away sunday after battling with pancreatic cancer. He was 58.Hootkins is best known (amongst us dorks) for his brilliant and emotional performance as Rebel Pilot
JEK PORKINS in 1977's STAR WARS. He was also Lt. Eckhardt in Tim Burton's BATMAN.
He lived a few blocks away from us and I met him a couple years ago - really nice guy.
