So you know how 2000AD, Rebellion and DNA Films are working to make another JUDGE DREDD movie - one much more accurate the source material... and good? Well one of the cool things they've done so far is hire 2000AD artist JOCK to do [some of] the concept art! Jock has said this movie is, “a redemption of the Stallone film”.
Yahoo movies has released the teaser poster for TRANSFORMERS 2: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN. It looks pretty neat, mysterious and scary. It's like a combination of Michael Bay robots, the Decepticon logo and Turkish Darth Vader (from Turkish Star Wars)
Also, you can see they used the Halycon model kit for some of the images:

Here are some more pics of that RESOLUTE COBRA COMMANDER figure. I'm liking it more and more with each view. Yeah, I'll pick one up. And I'm looking forward to seeing other characters with the "Resolute Redesign".

About a month ago, GOLDEN APPLE COMICS had a "WONDER WOMAN DAY". Part of the fun was JimSmash Fan-Favorite VALERIE PEREZ as WONDER WOMAN. I've posted pics of her before as WW and Scartlet Witch, from sightings at various cons.
The Resolute cartoon will be composed of ten 5-minute webisodes to be capped off by a 10-minute finale. The webisodes are going to be streamed from Hasbro's G.I. Joe website. Together, the webisodes will comprise a one-hour movie that may be shown on television later on or released to DVD. The cartoon will have a more serious tone comparable to how one may remember the G.I. Joe comics was from Marvel Comics.So there ya go & now we know.... and knowing is blah blah blah!The story is written by noted comic book author Warren Ellis, produced by Sam Register and directed by Joaquim De Santos. Character designs are by comic book artist Dave Johnson. Their approach to the project is that of a PG-13 cartoon.
Viewers may expect highly-detailed animation, a more realistic approach to the story, no lasers, real bullets and open fates to the characters (i.e., any one of the majors may die). Several classic characters and vehicles will be updated. The success of the webisodes may transfer to other similarly-themed Hasbro properties but nothing is clarified at this time.
Huh - Primarily Marvel right now. SGT ROCK was ok... Tucci mentions the 442nd Infantry, - which 2 of my great uncles were a part of, so I really enjoyed that part of the book. The only other DC book I'm loving is LEGION of SUPER-HEROES, which has been cancelled. Honorary DC mentions would be Geoff Johns' GREEN LANTERN, I suppose. But other than that, DiDio's reign at DC has pushed me away.
Been meaning to post these for months now... anyway, they make Justice League PADLOCKS! I have no use for a padlock these days, but that Green Lantern one is still tempting!.... and the Batman - the yellow dials is a nice touch.
