What is with Robert Rodriguez pushing his wife onto everyone? He's recently announced he's going to cast her as RED SONJA. I don't think she could carry my groceries to my car let alone be the uber-badass barbarian. McGowen is 5'3"tall... hardly a warrior to be reckoned with. Plus there's the whole "talent" thing. In short, she's extremely wrong for the part on just about every level. To put this in perspective, casting Rose McGowen as Red Sonja is like casting Elijah Wood as CONAN.

I don't think any actress would be right for the part, maybe a few women bodybuilders would be but then could they act !? Probably best going the whole CG route so you could have a woman like in that sculpt you posted, with unreal proportions etc... but stylized in a comic book way !! Still I wouldn't say no to Rose McGowan trying to carry my groceries !!
If I want to see hot chicks who can't act,..I'll rent Porn......
