COOL NEWS: NICK FURY will make an appearance in the upcoming IRON MAN movie! LAME NEWS: It appears that Samuel L. Jackson is going to play Fury. BAH!!!! I blame fucking Mark Miller, Bryan Hitch, Joe Quesada and anyone else who made Nick Fury look just like Jackson in the ULTIMATES comic (where they re-envision characters and ripoff classic Marvel stories). I have nothing against Jackson, but he simply is NOT Nick Fury. Why must they destroy everything I love?
Honestly, I'd prefer Hasselhoff as Fury... remember that craptastic made-for-tv Nick Fury movie in the mid 90s? Yikes. But seriously, cast someone like, say, KURT RUSSELL. Or an UNKNOWN. But someone who LOOKS the part! I wouldn't want to see Ken Watanabe cast as Superman...
God, I HATE the Ultimate line of Marvel books.
