THURSDAY THIRTEEN

Jen over at Casual Slack did a Thursday Thirteen on concerts she's been to. So, here's mine:

1) MOTLEY CRUE- Dr Feelgood Tour (they sounded like shit live. Wasteoids)
2) FUGAZI (2 diff't times in DC - 1st show was my first Mosh Pit!)
3) METALLICA - Black Album Tour (god the suck now)
4) FOLLOW FOR NOW - Auburn, Websters Lake All-Day Outdoor Music Fest. The night ended for me around 2am as my forehead was split open in a Mosh Pit accident - spent the rest of the night in the emergency room. Conversation with Doctor and my roommate:
Doctor: "Why were you two fighting so brutally?"
Roommate: "We weren't fighting" (puzzled look on face)
Doctor: [pointing to roommate's shirt] "Well then why do you have blood all over your shirt, huh?"
Roommate: [Looks down at blood on shirt, back up to Dr] "Oh, that's not his blood - that's someone elses".
The girl next to me with the broken leg talked to us for awhile, too. Did I mention she did so with nothing on below the waist? I miss college.
5) ALICE COOPER- Dragon Town Tour (and once in Tower Records parking lot in Rockville, MD as he promoted the release of "Hey, Stoopid!" Right up front, eye contact and all, plus got on the news later about it)
6) NINE INCH NAILS- Downward Spiral Tour (twice - 1st time had pre-famous Marilyn Manson open up, 2nd time was Jim Rose Circus)
7) RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE- Evil Empire Tour (one of the best concerts ever!)
8) PJ HARVEY (with Live & Veruca Salt. PJ was amazing!)
9) BOB DYLAN (2004 - The Western)
10) JUDAS PRIEST- Retribution Tour (Fuk yeh!)
11) MOTORHEAD (House of Blues - Couldn't hear for 2 days after)
12) IRON MAIDEN - A Matter of Lie & Death Tour (Incredible and life changing)
13) TWISTED SISTER- A Very Twisted Christmas (House of Blues. Made me get into the XMas mood!)

2. Aerosmith (My sisters LOVE them and both my mom and stepfather were sick, so Bryan and I took them)
3. Does the cast of "A Mighty Wind" count?

That's it for me!
