MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE

Remember when "He-Man" was simply "MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE" and it was AWESOME?! Before the silly cartoon... Before the lame characters that followed those first couple of toys series... No lame Prince Adam, No lame Cringer, No lame Orko.... Back when it was Sword & Sorcery and even the older kids thought it was Rad. Its a fucking shame what they did with that property. And even worse that most don't even remember that short time of it being something cool. Here's some artwork for ya:Remember the MINI-COMICS that came with each figure? If you were there at "the beginning" of the Toy Line (Pre-Cartoon), you may recall those FIRST 3 mini-comics. They kicked so much ass! It was still very much along the lines of 70s CONAN, FRANK FRAZETTA paintings and 70s HEAVY METAL Magazine. That is the MOTU I see in my mind and how I always envisioned "that world" when I was playing with the figures. Here are the covers to those first 3 Mini-Comics. Note the back and how different the art direction was initially... especially BEASTMAN!!! It should also be noted that many of those early MOTU mini-comics were drawn by current comic artist MARK TEXIERA (Ghost Rider, Wolverine, Sabretooth...)!FULL PAGE POST of those Mini-Comics coming soon (every single page, baby!). Hang tight, it'll take awhile for me to compile and post.

THe original HE-MAN toy was the coolest toy I had ever seen. It as basically a "McFarlane: toy line, 15-20 years before Mcfarlane. I hated the cartoon, and what it did to the "look" of the line. one day JIm, We will have our MOTU movie, the way it should be.

-nothing less than a pg-13 ( I would prefere 'R'

-incredible landscapes

-magic and sorcery, that is not an imagine-less rip-off of another movie

-incredible, fierce fighting scenes (once again is not a matrix/ninja movie rip-off)

-SCARY-ASS villans (not toolish jokes)

-an epic fantacy movie, that is not grounded in our reality
