Today's Dorky Spotlight goes to:
COMMANDER BACARA,
COMMANDER BACARA,of the Galactic Republic Clone Army.
Out of all the Clone designs in the Star Wars Prequels, this bad mofo is my favorite! Why? Just look at him, man - he's fucking awesome!!
He has alot of elements from the classic Stormtrooper look from the OG Trilogy... but he's a Clone War Era trooper, so he still has some of the Mandalorian design in the visor... frickin' rad back "samurai" helmet plating (like Vader!) and narly frontal side helmet shielding... then there's the cool maroon right shoulder pad (plus sportin the nice gold strap buckle!) like the Orange Sandtrooper from ANH... and lastly, he's sporting the back "skirt" like the Snowtroopers from Empire!! All these elements put together make this clonetrooper one asskickin' FIERCE lookin' character in my book. Plus, he takes out #3 Jedi Master Ki-Adi-Mundi (and in the snow, too! Bonus!!). I can't wait for them to make a model/statue of Bacara (Kotobukiya, please!!) - Jimmy's so buying that one!!
