METAL MEN MOVIE

So the Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Warner Bros is developing a movie based on DC Comics' METAL MEN. Much like Barbed Wire and Steel of the 90s, I think this is the sign that the current trend of Comic Movies is over. I never could understand the fanbase for Metal Men. Maybe it was the dumb faces with pinnochio noses and such... maybe it was the lame dialogue, I dunno. All I know is I think Metal Men is lame and it really really bugs me whenever they pop up in other books. I've never seen them be cool. Ok, I stand corrected - when they wrapped themselves around the Justice League in Alex Ross' JUSTICE, forming kickass armor, I freaked out in geeky glee. But other than that, METAL MEN blow and I foresee this movie being packaged with the Catwoman dvd for the Holidays.
