Wow. Joe Quesada, hellbent on making Spiderman single again (without divorce or death) has pulled a total DALLAS JR maneuver! In a nutshell, "it was all a dream". Wow.

I don't mind making the past crap years go away.... Gwen/Norman babies, Unmasking, Spider God crap, organic webshooters, etc... but what a lame way to do it - Mephisto changes the past and makes everyone in the Marvel Universe forget the past 20 years (MJ & Pete got married in 1987). Seriously, guys? SERIOUSLY? This is the best you could come up with? Marvel is no longer the "House of Ideas".

Below is the announcement they've released so you can now know where Spiderman is in his new, altered Mythos. LAME!!!!!
