FLASH DIRECTOR

UPDATE to the FLASH movie news....
In addition to writer David "Batman Begins" Goyer's departure from the film, Variety is now reporting that SHAWN LEVY ("Night At The Museum" & "Pink Panther") has been hired to direct. Levy says he "has no intention of making the film a comedy, but will aim for a lighter spirited film than Batman Begins and Superman Returns." Man, already I can tell this dude has no clue what the comic or character is about. This totally sucks. If you've read The Flash before and/or have seen "Night At The Museum" or "Pink Panther Remake", you probably feel the same. My prediction is something along the lines of Schumacher's Batman, Story's Fantastic Four or the 90s Flash TV series - garbage.
Bah, JIMSMASH!!!

That sucks. It would really be nice to see a decent Flash movie. Flash is such a great character and now he will probably be considered a joke after this guy has his way with him.
