Don't you love it when something AWESOME comes out of Hollywood? It doesn't happen often, but when it does, its so very sweet. 1984's THE TERMINATOR was one such film, thanks to the guerilla style indy filmmaking of a young James Cameron. Man that movie kicked ass, and it was a low budget film, too!

Then he was given a crap load of money to make T2. Sure, it was great and a lot of fun, but it had that "Hollywood Sheen" smeared over it and I felt it loss something by doing so. Still solid, though, for the most part.

Then TERMINATOR 3: RISE OF THE POOP came out. For the record, that movie was an abomination and an insult to all Terminator fans. Booooooo!!!!!
Could it get worse?
Yes - in the form of the upcoming T4 and T5, sans Arnold (good, not ALL Terminators should be Arnold, come on now!) but with rumored The Rock.
Dear God, just end the suffering now.

Ok, don't end the suffering there - FOX has just announced the greenlit upcoming TV show "THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES" where a post-T2 Sarah Connor and 14-yr old son John Connor go on adventures and get into all kinds of whacky trouble. John Friedman, writer and producer of the series, says "There's going to be a healthy dose of both action and family drama."
