A mysterious light display appearing over Norway last night has left thousands of residents in the north of the country baffled. The phenomenon began when what appeared to be a blue light seemed to soar up from behind a mountain. It stopped mid-air, then began to circulate.Within seconds a giant spiral had covered the entire sky. Then a green-blue beam of light shot out from its centre - lasting for ten to twelve minutes before disappearing completely.(article)
There is only one possible, logical explanation:
HEIMDALL, GUARDIAN OF THE RAINBOW BRIDGE TO ASGARD'S ARRIVAL TO MIDGARD.

It would be interesting if they actually termed it the Bifrost lights.
I don't EVER listen to this kind of music... but I liked these two. Do they only do Viking themes?
I normally don't like "death metal", but really dig these guys. They are part of that corner of Metal deemed "Swedish Death Metal" which I like (check out the band IN FLAMES). And yes, most if not all of their songs are about vikings and norse mythology. Their latest album, "Twilight of the Thunder God" is pure awesome - its what those 2 songs are from. Oh, and "Amon Amarth" is Tolkein Elvish for "Mount Doom". hehehe
