Sorry I hate this series of books and films and JK Miserable. The only good Harry Potter film is 'Troll' with Noah Hathaway and Michael Moriarty as Harry Potter Jnr and Snr.
I agree that the films are not great. For me, they are like cliff notes to the book. A revisit of the books without having to actually reread them. I can only imagine how bad they are for someone who hasn't read them (not referring to you, andrew). I do, however, enjoy the books. They make me feel like a kid again. I wouldn't classify them as instant classics of fine literature, but they are fun. Any book that can make 10 year olds read a 400+ book on their own is pretty sweet, I think. Do you read much fantasy? I ask because I've found those who read similar genre books find her stuff to be terrible.

I thought there was supposed to be 10 books to the series?
No, I wish!
But Rowling has always said that Book 7 would be the end of the story she wants to tell.
