Yeah, while Captain America was a great film I saw twice, I did miss the authenticity of WW2. It would have been nice to see more grit, Nazis, guns, bullets, American flags, and actual battles instead of Hydra scifi-war.
It had moments, But I feel they really dropped the ball on this one. The origin part was great, but I would have preferred it if:
1) it were more of "Saving Private Ryan meets a Tom Clancy Novel and THEN sprinkle some Rocketeer on the top...",....but, it is what it is.....they made money, and generated interest.
2) chosen a different, more convincing Steve Rogers/Captain America. Sorry, he was a poor choice.He Just doesn't have the presence and looks like a kid in a Puffy Halloween costume( would have made a PERFECT Bucky tho...)- but again, girls got their panties worked up so that's why he was chosen....

I liked the movie. Too bad neither of those images were in the film.
