V REMAKE TONIGHT

The V REMAKE TV Mini-Series debuts tonight. I'm going to tune in and give it a chance. I LOVED the original when it aired in 1983, but I was 7 years old. Earlier this year I revisited it and found, while dated, it still held on many levels. Now, I'm referring only to the MINI-SERIES here, not the ongoing TV series that followed (which was still fun in its own way).

From what I've seen in the trailers & online clips, it appears this new version is lacking many of the fun visuals from the original; cool laser guns, Rad attire and Beastmaster! So already I'm skeptical.... But atleast it looks like they're still lizards! Bring on the mice-eating scenes!
