Forrest J. Ackerman passed away yesterday at the age of 92.In addition to amassing the world's largest personal collection of science fiction and fantasy memorabilia, Ackerman has been credited with coining the term "sci-fi" in the 1950s.
He was also the editor of FAMOUS MONSTERS OF FILMLAND, the first movie monster magazine, where he wrote most of the articles.
