SUPERMAN II: DIRECTOR'S CUT

GREAT CAESAR'S GHOST!!!!

They are putting together a "director's cut" of SUPERMAN II for theatrical release!! YES! YES!!!For those who don't know the story, here's a quick summary. Richard Donner was to direct BOTH Superman 1 and 2. He even filmed a good amount of footage for the 2nd movie. If you notice, the beginning of Superman 1 has General Zod and gang being sentenced to the Phantom Zone by Jor-El. The intent from the beginning was to have this as 2 movies. However, the producers kicked him off the project before Superman II was finished. A new director was brought in and most of Donner's footage was scraped. You can see some of his footage in the movie, though; cool fight scenes with Zod and crew. Basically, anything cool in Superman II was Donner.

So, they are now putting together a new version of SUPERMAN II, with all of Donner's footage. They're even using some screen test footage. I can't wait to see this!!!!!!!!!!"You will bow down before me, Jor-El. I swear it, no matter that it takes an eternity! You will bow down before me!
