I, too, was excited to see a glimpse of Darth Vader

in the 'Rogue One' trailer, but...

Why doesn't his helmet fit properly?

Unknown said...: Jim, I think it was staying in line with the original Helmet from A New Hope. You could see how that helmet moved around quite a bit, and there were a few scenes where that collar stuck out like a sore thumb in a New Hope. Empire was much better, the helmet fit tighter. It's just a theory, but if so, it's nice that they resisted going with a later slicker version.; 10:40 PM
Jim said...: I never noticed helmet issues in ANH. I'll have to pay attention next viewing! If that is indeed the case, that's a nice touch.
